LootLedger is a product of Kalos Media LLC ("we," "us"). By downloading, installing, or purchasing a license for LootLedger ("the software"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the software.
LootLedger is a desktop application for tracking sponsorship deals, vendors, payments, and invoices. It's distributed in two tiers:
A license key is issued to you personally for your own use. You may not resell, redistribute, or share your license key, or use it to circumvent the free tier's limits for someone else.
Everything you enter into LootLedger — vendors, deals, invoices, payment records — is stored locally on your own machine. We don't have access to it, can't recover it if you lose it, and aren't responsible for backing it up. The app includes an encrypted backup feature; using it regularly is on you.
LootLedger helps you keep records and generate invoices — it doesn't replace an accountant, bookkeeper, or lawyer. Tax calculations, invoice totals, and every figure the app produces should be checked against your own judgment before you rely on them, especially for anything involving actual tax filings. You're responsible for the accuracy of the deals, payments, and invoices you send to real vendors using this tool.
The software is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose beyond what's described on this site.
To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the software — including lost income, lost data, or business disputes with a vendor — beyond the amount you actually paid for your license.
Purchases are processed through Gumroad. Refund eligibility follows whatever policy is shown at checkout at the time of purchase — check there for the current terms before buying if that matters to you.
We may revoke a license key that's refunded, found to be fraudulently obtained, or shared in violation of these terms. Revocation is checked the next time the app has internet and happens to check in — it's not an immediate remote lockout, and the app always keeps working fully offline in the meantime. Outside of that, your license doesn't expire and isn't subject to any ongoing condition.
We may update these terms as the product changes. If we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
